오늘날 세계는 시장만능적 사고의 만연과 글로벌 리더십의 부족으로 총체적 위기에 직면해 있습니다. 더욱이 인류는 심화되고 있는 환경파괴, 지역분쟁, 기아와 질병 등을 해결하기 위하여 글로벌 연대와 지속 가능한 발전 시스템을 구축할 수 있는 글로벌 리더십을 절실히 요구하고 있습니다. 우리는 이러한 세기적 요구에 부응하기 위해 특정 정파나 이념을 초월 하여 미래지향적인 글로벌 리더십을 갖춘 지도자를 양성하고 21세기를 향한 비전과 발전전략을 제시하고자 합니다.

Global issues such as the environment, the economy, peace and poverty (“EEPP”) are so serious that the very sustainability of our planet is threatened.  These global issues have been persistent, and paths to resolving these problems have often been hindered by shortsighted interests and failure of mutual understanding.  There is an important role for global leaders who can support and foster cooperate regarding efficient policies relative to economic crises now and in the future.  Global leadership is vital to promoting mutual understanding, and facilitating cooperation on global issues such as the sustainable coexistence between man and nature.  We, thus, propose a Global Leadership Network.
